Smoothly emanating star-quality artistry, T-Shyne is rising to the spotlight as one of Young Stoner Life Records’ breakout signees. Today, the New York-bred artist releases his latest single “Top 5,” via Young Stoner Life Records/ 300 Entertainment.
“Top 5 is about being a champion, being at the top of your game and beating the odds. When it comes to my music, I want every song to be the best and to be pure. I want to be in everyone’s top 5 when I reach that level” T-Shyne shares.
Powered by an illuminating, infectious hook, “Top 5” touts as an anthem for winners as T-Shyne rightfully claims his spot as a champion for his craft and all he’s acclaimed thus far. Pulling back the curtains one step further by releasing the official music video to “Top 5,” the visual, directed by Tashi, oozes with cinematic dynamism to complement the vivid storytelling.
Earlier this week, T-Shyne announced the release of his eagerly awaited sophomore effort project Confetti Nights which serves as his first project as a Young Stoner Life Records signee. Executive produced by Young Thug and NBA icon Kevin Durant, T-Shyne is poised to solidify status as an unapparelled force leading into the momentous release. Last year, he was featured on Young Thug’s album Slime Language 2, with standout track “That Go!” alongside Meek Mill and “Warrior” alongside Lil Keed and Big Sean. The project debuted #1 on the Billboard Hot 200. Shyne also received praise on Young Thug’s PUNK album with “Stressed” alongside J Cole.
Last year, T-Shyne released “30 For 30” and “Feed the Fam” which will be featured on Confetti Nights. In support of the latter, T-Shyne ‘fed the fam’ in his hometown of The Bronx by giving out free meals to families in need. Tapping into a sector that exemplifies one of his purposes as an artist, he is committed to keeping strides in the breath of giving back at a high for the array of communities that has molded him to be the man he is today.

Tafa Peters, better known as T-Shyne, is solidifying his spot in the rap game. A longtime friend and collaborator of Young Thug, T-Shyne signed to Thug’s Young Stoner Life Records/300 Entertainment in 2020. T-Shyne was born in Granada and raised in East Hampton, New York which served as his first introduction to what would soon become a career in the rap genre. He began rapping as a teenager and eventually moved to the Bronx to further his career in Hip Hop. In 2018, T-Shyne released his debut project The Immaculate, which included features from Young Thug, Juicy J, Slim Jxmmi and more, followed by several singles including notable tracks “Side Steppin” ft. Young Thug, “Slime” ft. Lil Keed, and “Layaway” ft. Alexander Lewis and Chief Keef.
In 2020, T-Shyne released his single “Moncler” with Young Thug, which served as his first official release as a member of the Young Stoner Life/300 Entertainment roster. As a member of the Young Stoner Life family, T-Shyne has also been a part of notable collaborations and some of the label’s biggest moments including his appearance on Young Thug’s acclaimed On The Rvn EP, and Slime Language 2 – most notably with his appearance on “That Go!” alongside Young Thug and Meek Mill.
