Steelo Brim feat. Larry June – Summer Goodbye

The multi-talented creative/executive Steelo Brim returns for his latest official single “Summer Goodbye” feat. Larry June released via Stem. Reconnecting with Rob Holladay on the production, the end-of-summer anthem highlights all the accomplishments & vibes created throughout the season. Blending his Chicago upbringing & laid-back Cali style into his music, Steelo teams up with Larry to list out what summer looks like to them.

“‘Summer Goodbye’ was literally just that for me, a sign off to summer of different ‘accomplishments’ or things I would’ve jotted in a journal. Also the obvious ode to Hov’s Dear Summer, brings a smooth nostalgic feel. A good day is something I’m always trying to capture on a record. Good energy.,” says Steelo.

“Summer Goodbye” follows the release of Steelo’s debut EP Eldorado Excursions – the project is the progression of Steelo coming from the heart of Chicago’s Westside & ending up in the LA lights to pursue his young dream of working in music. The 13-track EP includes features from Fabolous, Buddy, Arin Ray, BJ The Chicago Kid, Chuck Inglish, Dej Loaf, Leon Thomas, Vic Mensa, Problem, Nomad P and more. Fans can expect more music and textured freestyles from Steelo as he prepares to release his next project.

Leveraging his background in A&R working with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Miguel, the long-time Ridiculousness co-host/producer made his official foray into music with the release of the aforementioned Eldorado Excursions. Additionally, he’s released a string of captivating visuals accompanying the project, including “Uncle Elroy” feat. Fabolous & Arin Ray (watch HERE), “My Love” feat. Buddy & Arin Ray (watch HERE) and “D.Y.W.R.” feat. Chuck Inglish. Steelo has also dropped several freestyles, including “Light Freestyle,” “Knock Knock Freestyle” and “Plan B Freestyle.”
