4X Grammy award-winning producer/recording artist Hit-Boy & his dad Big Hit are taking hip-hop by storm. After serving a 9-year prison sentence, Big Hit celebrated his release by going to the studio with his son. Since then, the father-son duo have delivered a steady stream of records with hit-making potential. “Watch Out For The Riders” is the latest example of that, complete with a head-nodding guest verse from Compton’s own Jay Worthy. The video, released in partnership with Surf Club and Lowrider Magazine, made its debut earlier this week (July 12) and launched the official merch collaboration for the new single.
What’s most impressive about the “Watch Out For The Riders” video is Hit & Jay’s combined knowledge on the ins and outs of the West Coast. As they deftly guide listeners through a tour of their favorite spots around town, a fleet of plush whips play the backdrop and bring the song’s vision to life.
