SUR5, pronounced “survive”, is the debut EP by music producer Cruzu and upcoming rapper Notmixedenough. ‘SUR5’ represents the passion of both artists for creating music, which keeps them going through daily life. The 5-track EP contains a variety of refreshing songs with five different moods, hard-hitting beats, and groundbreaking rap vocals. Amongst these tracks, it features a collaboration with Soul-infused Brooklyn pop artist Janie May. Cruzu is a music producer from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, who started publishing tracks in 2019 in collaboration with vocal artists from the United States, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Cameroon, and more. Mostly focused on beat-making and music production, but not shy to add his own vocals either, this resulted in 95K+ streams so far. Notmixedenough is a recording artist and songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. In 2019 he began rapping and released two singles ‘2 cents’ and ‘Rah Rah.’ In 2020 he dropped two projects ‘Fear of Good’ and ‘WOOSAH,’. His pen has extended far past his own material, having written for multiple artists. This is his first collaboration outside of the US.
